Child pornography is far more pervasive in our society than our society believes or is aware of.  Per capita, Canadians produce as much or more child pornography than any other developed country in the world.
The extraordinary amount of child pornography produced in Canada CAN NOT occur without corruption at all levels of governments and within all governmental agencies, including the police, specifically the RCMP.
  
 Law enforcement agencies and police officers are not infallible, nor can anyone honestly expect them to be.  However, indignity supplements human fallibility when the judicial system, and the government itself, does not readily support police officers by enforcing the law through the courts.  This non-supportive mentality can, and does, negatively influence and effect pride, judgment, job performance, and morals of police officers.
Canadian police agencies, specifically the RCMP have a proud and honorable history in Canada and they have gained a distinguished reputation around the world.  It would devastate Canada's international reputation, not to mention Canadian integrity, if the famous police 'Blue Wall', either purposely or inadvertently, concealed corruption with the ranks of the RCMP.
There is no logical reason why incompetence, or corruption, should be attributed to the entire police profession, nor should it be allowed to create an unwarranted burden transferred to the shoulders of competent and honest police officers.  All issues must be identified and dealt with, in an open public forum through the co-operative efforts of everyone.

Quesnel RCMP Officer Accused Of Multiple Murders

[Edited] Excerpts from Mr. Lonnie Landuds' interview with an International Documentary Film Producer in January 2007. 

Mr. Landrud states that he witnessed an RCMP officer murder a 16 year old girl in Quesnel B.C., in 1999.  He claims the same officer is responsible for 8 other murders.  All of these murders remain unsolved.  Mr. Landrud additionally states that the RCMP have attempted to murder him.  Mr. Landrud continues his quest to have his information investigated by agencies other than the RCMP...... 

RCMP Accused of Murder - Child Sexual Abuse - Operating Child Prostitution Ring
[Edited] Excerpts from interview with Mr. James Schmidt in March 2000

Mr. Schmidt states he was a victim of a Child Prostitution Ring run by the RCMP.  He claims a core group of RCMP control, sanction, and cover-up specific crimes against children in British Columbia.  He further states that both he and his children were being victimized by the Quesnel RCMP in the mid 1990's.  Mr. Schmidts' family and friends have not seen or heard from him since late 2003.
